Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”) prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program or activity. As a recipient of federal funding, Elk Point-Jefferson School District does not discriminate on the basis of sex in any of its education programs or activities.  Title IX’s protections extend to admissions and employment. Any inquiries regarding Title IX’s protections can be referred to the Title IX coordinator.
