
Tonight the volleyball team will host a "Rally for Roger" for their home game with Tri-Valley. Proceeds from a bake sale, 50/50 raffle and a serving game will go to the Roger Dunn family. C game starts at 4:30 pm with rolling schedule to follow.

The yearbook staff traveled to the campus of SDSU in Brookings today to attend the South Dakota High School Press Convention! They spent the day listening to journalists talk about their experiences working in the field and attending workshops related to design trends, caption writing, and photography. The afternoon consisted of an awards ceremony for the SDHSAA Yearbook Contest, as well as the Journalistic Photography Contest, with which came some door prizes. Senior Libby W. name was drawn during door prizes and she came home with a laptop! The 2023-2024 yearbook received an Excellent rating in the Yearbook Contest. Finally, senior Samantha M. earned herself the TOP scoring spot in the entire Journalistic Photography Contest for her photo "Crazy About Colors". This means her photo had the highest score of any school that submitted entries (class B, A, and AA) all across South Dakota! She received a Superior and a plaque recognizing her fantastic photography skills. Congratulations and a job well done to Samantha as well as the entire yearbook staff!






EPJ will host Flandreau on Thursday, October 24 at 6:30 pm in the first round of the 11B football playoffs. No passes will be accepted - ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for students.

EPJ will host the Region 3A Cross Country Meet on Thursday, October 17 at 3:30 pm at The Pointe Golf and Event Center. Please note the start time as some calendars may have it starting earlier.

EPJ football is hosting a JH/JV doubleheader today with Wagner starting at 4:00 pm. JH will play at 4 pm followed by the JV game.

We have a change to JH VB today in Parker - first games will start at 4 pm and not 4:30 as originally scheduled - with 7B and 8th grade playing at that time - the 7A game will follow.

Couple of scheduling notes for upcoming volleyball games. October 8 at Viborg-Hurley C team starts at 5 pm followed by JV and varsity. October 15 vs South Sioux City the JV will start at 5 pm (NO C GAME) followed by the varsity.

After a busy week with Homecoming, the EPJHS Student Council spent their Monday morning at the Regional Student Council Conference. They were networking with other schools and brought some great ideas back to EPJ
